Cream Cheese Frosting – Hiroko’s Recipes


This is a great frosting for all your favourite cakes, but particularly good for Carrot Cake and Banana Cake.

Ingredients

50g Unsalted Butter *softened
125g Cream Cheese *softened
1 cup Icing Sugar *sifted
2 teaspoons Lemon Juice

Method

Place softened Cream Cheese, softened Butter and Lemon Juice in a bowl. Using a whisk, beat until well combined. Gradually add sifted Icing Sugar and beat until smooth.If it turned too soft, cool in the fridge to firm up.
