Seafood & Tomato Rice Bowl – Hiroko’s Recipes


This mixture of Seafood & Tomato cooked with Garlic and Chilli is, of course, perfect with Pasta, but it is perfect with Rice, too. I always season it with Soy Sauce. If you have tasted stir-fried Tomato & Garlic seasoned with Soy Sauce before, you already know this rice bowl is delicious. With Seafood, it can’t go bad. White Fish only version is also very good.

Ingredients

100g Seafood Mix *thawed completely if frozen
1/2 tablespoon Oil *I used Olive Oil
1 small clove Garlic *roughly chopped
Chilli Flakes as required
1/2 Tomato *cut into bite-size pieces
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce*1 tablespoon is 15ml
1 tablespoon Mirin
1 serving warm Cooked Rice
Finely chopped Spring Onion

Method

Heat Oil, Garlic and Chilli in a frying pan until aromatic, add Seafood and Tomato, and cook until cooked through. It won’t take long.Add Soy Sauce and Mirin, and stir to combine.Half fill a bowl with warm Cooked Rice and cover it with the mixture, sprinkle with some Spring Onions, and enjoy.
