Cold Stewed Apple Dessert – Hiroko’s Recipes

Some Apples were turning wrinkly and I stewed them. I stored the stewed Apple in the fridge. Today was a hot day and I ate the cold stewed Apple with leftover whipped Cream and Vanilla Ice Cream. As I always have a jar of Rum-steeped Sultanas, I poured some over the Ice Cream. And it was DELICIOUS!!! You should try it.

Makes

1 Serving

Ingredients

Stewed Apple *I pan-stewed Pink Lady Apples with skin
Whipped Cream
Vanilla Ice Cream
Rum-steeped Sultanas OR Raisins

Method

Cut Apple into 8 wedges and cut each wedge in half. Stew them with a little bit of Water in a frying pan with a fitting lid OR a saucepan. I recommend to chill the stewed Apple in the fridge, but you may prefer warm stewed Apple.Add some Whipped Cream and Vanilla Ice Cream on top, and pour the Rum-steeped Sultanas (OR Raisins) over the Whipped Cream and Ice Cream.*Note: You can use Rum Raisin Ice Cream instead.
