Ramen Noodles are good for this this, but I use Angel Hair Pasta (Capellini) because it takes only a few minutes to cook, they are inexpensive, and available from any supermarket. Using already thinly sliced Pork, it takes onIy 5 minutes to cook this dish. If you don’t eat Pork, I recommend to use Chicken.

Ingredients
1 serving Angel Hair Pasta (Capellini) *about 80g
*Note: Ramen Noodles are also good.
Salt for cooking Angel Hair Pasta
Finely chopped Spring Onion
Shichimi (Japanese Chilli Spice Mix) *optional
Sauce
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
1 small clove Garlic *finely chopped OR grated
80g thinly sliced Pork Belly *cut into bite-size pices
Salt & White Pepper
1 cup Chicken Stock *OR 1 cup Water & 1 teaspoon Asian Chicken Bouillon Powder
1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Potato Starch *mixed with 1 tablespoon Water
Method
Heat Sesame Oil in a small frying pan OR saucepan over medium heat, cook thinly sliced Pork and Garlic, and lightly season with Salt & White Pepper.
Add Chicken Stock and Soy Sauce, and bring to the boil. Add extra Salt if required. Gradually add Potato Starch mixture, constantly stirring, until desired thickness is achieved. You don’t need to add all of it.
Meanwhile, cook Angel Hair Pasta (Capellini) in boiling salted water as instructed. Drain, place in a bowl, and pour the Sauce over. Add some Spring Onion and Shichimi (Japanese Chilli Spice Mix), and enjoy.
