Isetan Shinjuku has really beefed up their retail craft beer selection, stocking around 220 different canned and bottled beers from breweries around the world. The craft beer zone is in the far corner of their excellent sake department, and next to it they’ve set up a tiny standing bar where you can take a break from depachika food-hall shopping with a quick beer.
The bar serves a rotating roster of domestic craft beers from its four taps, with prices starting at around Y800 for a small glass. Note that you may need to reserve a standing spot during busy hours, and there may be a time limit.
