Teriyaki Pork Rice Bowl – Hiroko’s Recipes

It’s hard to believe for me, but there are many bottled Teriyaki Sauce products in Australia, and the flavours of those sauces are often very different from what I know as Teriyaki. I am Japanese and I know what Teriyaki is. Teriyaki sauce can be easily made with three Japanese seasoning staples, that are Sugar, Mirin and Soy Sauce. Today I added grated Ginger to it. If you like Teriyaki flavour, I recommend to stock Sugar, Mirin and Soy Sauce, and make the sauce yourself. It’s simple, and you can add extra ingredients such as Ginger, Garlic, Sesame Oil, or etc.
