The other day, I was not well and I craved something sweet. I wanted to eat a sweet cake, but there was nothing sweet at home. You have been in such a situation before, haven’t you? If you have a microwave, you can make this Instant Mug Cake in less than 5 minutes. This is the basic Plain Mug Cake recipe. You can add some Instant Coffee, Cocoa Powder, Chocolate Chips, Fruit Jam, OR anything you want to add to the cake.

Ingredients
1 tablespoon Butter *1 tablespoon is 15ml
2 tablespoons Sugar
1 Egg
4 tablespoons Self-Raising Flour
*Note: You can add some Vanilla, Instant Coffee, Cocoa Powder, Chocolate Chips, Fruit Jam, Sultanas, OR etc.
Method
Place Butter in a mug, microwave for 20-30 seconds OR until Butter melts. Add Sugar and mix well.Add Egg and mix well, then add Flour and mix well until smooth.Microwave for 1 to 1 & 1/2 minutes OR until cooked. Enjoy with Jam, Cream, Syrup, OR etc.
