If you love sake, Daigo should be your first stop in Kanazawa. Hundreds of bottles are stocked in the wall of refrigerators behind the counter, including limited-edition and seasonal selections from sought-after breweries like Aramasa and Juyondai.
The compact food menu is relatively simple, with a good selection of local seafood and sake-friendly dishes like cucumbers with miso paste, stuffed lotus root and grilled duck. Everything is well prepared, artfully presented, and well-suited to sake.
Budget around Y4,000-7,000 for ample food and drink.
