The British Shop in Shibuya carries imported foods and beverages from the UK – everything from biscuits and chocolates to Stilton cheese and canned beans. There are ciders from Aspall, Brothers and Sheppy’s, and botanically brewed ginger beer from Fentimans. The freezer case is stocked with Scottish smoked salmon and Cumberland pork sausages, and they serve ice cream from Langage Farm in Devon.
If you’re ready for an afternoon tea break, you can order a Cream Tea Set (a scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream along with a cup of tea) in the standing cafe area. They also have freshly made chunky beef pies for here or to go. Note that they don’t accept cash, so bring a credit card or Suica card.
