Spring Onion & Garlic Infused Oil – Hiroko’s Recipes

Garlic, Chilli, Herbs or Citrus infused Olive Oils are widely available these days. This is an Asian version, but DO NOT use Olive Oil. Flavourless Vegetable Oils, such as Canola Oil, are more suitable. This Oil is brilliant for stir-fries and fried rice, and also it adds a fantastic flavour to Ramen Soup.


About 230ml


1 cup Vegetable Oil *e.g. Canola Oil
2 Spring Onions *finely chopped
1 cloves Garlic *crushed


Place all ingredients in a saucepan. Heat over the low heat until slightly browned. Set aside for 5 minutes. Then filter through a sieve.
